Hey Guys! How To Play With Your Fragrance...

hi there! here's some tips I've found in the Men's Health Magazine. i think it is a very useful tips for men. OK there, enjoy your readings.

#1 Apply cologne close to your heart

Perfect after a triumphant fifth set or before anything else. "Apply cologne on the places where you can feel the beats of your heart," advises Rochelle Bloom, president of the Fragrance Foundation. This means wrists, the sides of your neck, over your ticker. The throb adds impact to the scent.
Go light on the spritz

#2 Go light on cologne.
Napoleon used a bottle a day; no wonder they sent him into exile. If you wear fragrance, avoid scented shaving creams. Mixed messages will confuse her, not enthuse her.

#3 Follow in her dad's footsteps
"If she loves her father and he wears a certain scent, try it," says Michael Bastian, men's fashion director at Bergdorf Goodman. Yeah, this is deep psychological water, but if it helps her feel safer . . .

#4 Wake up with a midday splash
Cologne can beat the 3 p.m. slump, says Mary Ellen Lapsansky, executive director of the Fragrance Foundation. "A quick splash midafternoon is a psychological pick-me-up and keeps you smelling wonderful."

#5 Hold fragrance longer
Dry skin? Apply fragrance more often. Oily skin holds scent longer, says Rochelle Bloom, of the Fragrance Foundation.

#6 How much to use?
"If you're constantly smelling the fragrance, you've applied too much. People should have to get close to you to say, 'Gee, you smell nice,' " says Rochelle Bloom, president of the Fragrance Foundation. A couple of spritzes or splashes is enough.

#7 Apply to pulse points...
Pulse points like your neck and wrists will naturally diffuse a scent, Bloom says. Put it on your skin, not on your clothes.

#8 Scents for different seasons...
Heat intensifies any fragrance, and scents are stronger when combined with sweat, says Bloom. That's why an aromatic or citrus scent works in the summer; you can go heavier in the winter.

#9 Don't clash scents...
You don't have to use every variation on a fragrance--cologne, aftershave, body wash, deodorant, says Mikel Cirkus, creative director of Firmenich, an aroma manufacturer. One at a time is fine. But make sure the other products don't clash with the scent you choose.

#10 Use it as a deodorant...
Body sprays like Axe fall between cologne and deodorant, but use them as a deodorant.

#11 Use sparingly
Ladies generally like cologne, but not too much of it.
